How PlainFigure makes money
PlainFigure may earn money from affiliate commissions and display ads. Current public partner CTAs can include mortgage marketplace links and personal-loan marketplace links. If you click a partner link and apply for or purchase a financial product, PlainFigure may receive compensation.
Partner placements must match the product category described on the page. For example, a mortgage prequalification call-to-action should route to a mortgage marketplace, and a personal-loan call-to-action should be framed as a consolidation alternative rather than a balance-transfer card offer.
What that means for you
- PlainFigure calculators are independent. Commissions do not affect your calculator results.
- Your inputs stay in your browser. PlainFigure does not need your personal financial details to run these calculators.
- Affiliate links may affect which promotional links are shown, but they do not change the math, ranking logic, or explanations inside the calculators.
- Partner names, availability, rates, fees, and eligibility can change. Always verify terms directly with the provider before applying.
Partner types
PlainFigure may work with mortgage lenders, credit card issuers, personal loan providers, insurance providers, retirement planning software, advisor marketplaces, or display advertising networks.
Editorial separation
Calculator formulas, explanations, and caution language are maintained separately from partner links. The methodology page explains how estimates are produced and what each calculator does not include.
Who maintains this disclosure
